Chipboard mini albums are a perfect way to capture Halloween memories, but part of those memories are all the spooky cool decorations of the season. Today I thought I'd share a few vintage graphics available to use in your projects, along with a quick, easy Halloween project you can make today.
Those of you who've visited before know that I love The Graphics Fairy. She's got a few different sites where she shares great vintage artwork that she makes available for our use in crafts projects! Another site is specifically for showcasing those projects - it's a great source of inspiration and education!
The graphics that I'm showing here are all from The Graphics Fairy site, and can be found by using the search page feature, a box in the right sidebar with different categories that make it easy to find things.
There are graphics you can use for making transfers that can be used for adorning pillows, Christmas stockings, burlap bags, canvas tote bags, and all sorts of things. They can also be printed out onto cardstock and used as pages in mini albums or cut out and added to a scrapbook page with adhesive foam dots.
What I really love is that there are so many projects showcased that I can barely narrow down my choices of what I want to make! Here are a few simple projects you can make. First is one you can make for yourself or as a hostess gift for your next spooky Halloween party. Just tie them up with an orange bow and add a tag!
This is a cute idea I never would have thought of, and I love it! Karen - the Graphics Fairy - has made it easy for us, too, because she's made pdf's just the perfect size for a large matchbox. All you have to do is print it out and attach! Click here for the instructions with even more pictures.
Another is shown as a wall decoration, but I'm sure you really crafty people out there will come up with tons of ways to use these.
Aren't these fabulous?! I've GOT to make them! Click here for the instructions and more photos. Halloween always inspires me to get my craft on, and these projects are really calling my name! I am a Halloween nut - I LOVE all the decorations and colors!
I'll leave you with a few more vintage graphics to inspire you. Don't forget that you can also use them to embellish the cover and pages of chipboard mini albums, too!
